Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans is officially a married woman… again!
The 25-year-old MTV reality star wed David Eason on Saturday, September 23, at their home backyard in North Carolina. The theme was “rustic Southern”.
However, in true Teen Mom fashion, the wedding didn’t go off without some major drama! In fact Jenelle called off her wedding to David just 24 hours earlier!
The reason? The couple had a big blowout fight on Friday night during which Jenelle cancelled the wedding and rehearsal dinner, and slammed her engagement ring on the table. She was apparently upset that David was choosing to work on their home instead of pampering her and paying her more attention leading up to their wedding.
David in fact confirmed the fight and spoke to Radar Online as he attempted to defend himself in an interview.
“When I’m out here working constantly, every f***ing minute of the day, she’s sitting around,” said David. “This place looks different every day. It’s all because of me. These people wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for me.”
The couple however managed to make up just in time for their wedding and Jenelle shared photos online. “Yesterday was magical,” she captioned the Instagram photo above that showed her and her new husband walking down the aisle with her two sons looking on.
Jenelle has two sons Jace, 7, and Kaiser, 2, from previous relationships. She and David also welcomed their 9-month-old daughter Ensley in January.
The couple first began dating in September 2015 and announced their engagement in February. This isn’t Jenelle’s first wedding as she was married to her ex Courtland Rogers for two years.
Fans of the show won’t be shocked to find out that Jenelle’s mom Barbara Evans did not attend the wedding. The two have fought for years all due to custody of Jace, Jenelle’s son with ex Andrew Lewis.
If you recall, the former 16 and Pregnant star signed over custody of Jace to Barbara back in 2010. However in May of this year, the two were able to come to a new custody agreement that gives Jenelle more visitation with her son.
