Yolanda Hadid makes her return to reality TV tonight as her new show Making A Model With Yolanda Hadid is set to premiere on Lifetime at 10/9c.
The show follows the 53-yr-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum and former model as she mentors and coaches aspiring models and their mothers to help them make it big in the modeling world. And what better coach than Yolanda, who helped craft the modeling careers of her famous daughters Bella and Gigi Hadid.
The press release promises that “Yolanda and her trusted team of experts will put the girls and their “momagers” through an intensive eight week training program, focused on the physical, mental and emotional wellness that it takes to build a sustainable brand.”
The eight-episode series will follow six young aspiring models and their mothers who will all live under one roof in New York City, while pursuing their dreams of becoming a super model. Each week, the girls and their moms will be put through a series of lessons, competitions, and assignments meant to test their modeling skills in addition to the strength of their mother-daughter relationships.
When it’s all said and done, the winner will walk away with a management contract with Yolanda’s company and the opportunity to be represented by IMG Models in NYC. There are also $5000 weekly prizes up for grabs to help the girls with their career goals. Gigi and Bella are expected to make appearances on the show.
