Oh Teresa!
It’s now been two years since Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice left prison camp after serving time for bankruptcy fraud, so what better way to show the world you are reformed than to spend over $43,000 on a new car for your 17-year-old daughter!
Yes, Teresa just purchased a brand new BMW 430i for Gia Giudice to celebrate her 17th birthday.
“Gia turned 17,” said Teresa in an interview with Bravo. “I can’t believe I have a child that drives.”
So why spend so much on a car for her teenager?
“I really was proud to get her a car because she really does deserve it. She’s an amazing, amazing, amazing child, she really is. All four of them are, but I mean she’s my first one and she sets the example for my other three,” explained Teresa. “I got her a BMW 430i. It’s a white car with the red leather interior. Beautiful car. Nice rims. She loved it.”
That particular BMW model starts out at $43,500, and we all know Mrs. Giudice loves the luxurious life so it’s likely she spent over $50,000 once you count all of the upgrades and customization.
“As soon as we walked into the showroom, my eyes went right to it. I’m like, ‘I want this car!’ ” she added. “The reason why I really wanted to get it for her is because then I can drive it some time.”
By the way, Teresa’s husband Joe Giudice continues to serve out his 3.5 years prison sentence for tax evasion and bankruptcy fraud.
