We have great news to share for Married at First Sight fans as one of the favorite couples from the show, Ashley Petta and Anthony D’Amico, are expecting their first child.
If you recall, the two appeared on season 5 of the Lifetime hit series which aired in 2017. And while the other two couples that were paired are now divorced, Ashley, 32, and Anthony, 35, have stayed together.
The couple shared the happy news about Ashley’s pregnancy with fans on her instagram page in the form of a photo of them holding a sonogram.
“We’re pregnant! I am so excited to finally share this exciting news with everyone,” Ashley wrote. “We have always dreamed of having a child and we are so happy to finally be making our dreams come true together. We are over the moon and can not wait to welcome our child into the world. We can’t wait for this next journey in our lives to begin!”
The Dad-to-be also took to Instagram to share the happy news alongside another lovely pic of Ashley and their sonogram.
“I’m gonna be a Daddy! @ashleypetta and I are so excited to announce that we’re pregnant!” Anthony wrote on instagram. “Ashley and I have always wanted to be parents and can’t wait for our little one to arrive. Looking forward to the next chapter of our lives!”
Additionally, the lovebirds also recently celebrated their two year wedding anniversary! On August 5, Ashley posted on Instagram: “Happy 2 year anniversary @_anthonydamico marrying a stranger might have been the craziest but best decision I ever made. Love you.”
