Scheana Marie Shay of Vanderpump Rules is setting the record straight amid recent rumors stating that she is actively trying to have a baby or might already be pregnant.
This week, the 33-yr-old Bravo reality star took to her Twitter page to open up about her big decision to freeze her eggs, following her divorce from ex-husband Mike Shay.
The Scheana baby rumors began after she took to her Instagram Story and shared a picture of needles. The fans started asking Scheana on Twitter what was going on, and she replied that she is simply freezing her eggs. She shut down the pregnancy rumors by making it clear she does NOT want kids now.
“I’m freezing eggs, not embryos. I don’t have a man. I don’t want kids now,” wrote Scheana. “I’m focusing on my career and my future. When/If the time comes to use my eggs, I pray they are good.”
None of this makes any sense. I’m freezing eggs, not embryos. I don’t have a man. I don’t want kids now. I’m focusing on my career and my future. When/If the time comes to use my eggs, I pray they are good. https://t.co/4YX6Nkvrbq

After getting some negative feedback from her followers, Scheana insisted that she is happy about her decision to freeze her eggs calling it a “smart choice.”
“Why would I regret making a smart decision for my future? I would regret NOT doing this than taking the chance. Life IS too short. That’s why I’m doing this now,” she tweeted.
First off, it’s **you’re. And why would I regret making a smart decision for my future? I would regret NOT doing this than taking the chance. Life IS too short. That’s why I’m doing this now. https://t.co/wxh4n2z7r1

While all of Scheana’s followers didn’t agree with her plan, she did get some support from others who felt like she was making the right decision.
“Being so open about something this personal is very brave #respect #trollsarebuttheads,” wrote one supporter, to which Scheana responded: “Thank you.”
Wish I had done it @scheana ! I’m almost 44 and the reality is setting in. Nothing wrong with being prepared and thinking ahead. Your child will thank you for thinking of him/her in advance. That is a true mother’s love. For someone to have a prob w/ your decision is ridiculous.
