Kyle Richards Responds to Accusations of Being "Tone Deaf" After Sharing Post About "Escaping From Reality," Plus RHOBH Star Admits She is "Against" Daughters Becoming Reality Stars

Kyle Richards is fighting back after being accused of being “tone deaf” on Instagram.

After sharing her thoughts about her daughters following in her footsteps with careers in reality television, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member defended herself against a couple of her followers who found her recent post about “escaping from reality” to be offensive.

“I miss escaping from reality,” Kyle wrote in the caption of her latest Instagram post, which included a photo of the mother of four lounging in a white bathing suit during a getaway in Greece.

“Uh tone deaf,” one commenter wrote, likely giving a nod to the ongoing protests against police brutality and racial injustice throughout the United States and the world.

“No. Not at all,” Kyle clapped back.

Then, when another one of her followers told Kyle that her “whole life is an escape from reality,” Kyle again denied any such thing.

“No. Not really,” she told the fan.

RHOBH Kyle Richards Reacts to Tone Deaf Accusation

While Kyle has made a living off exposing her reality to the cameras for RHOBH, that doesn’t mean that she wants to see her four daughters, including 31-year-old Farrah, 23-year-old Alexia, 20-year-old Sophia, and 12-year-old Portia, embarking on the same path. In fact, during a recent interview with Australian TV WEEK magazine, Kyle said, via the Daily Mail, that she “would strongly advise against” her daughters getting into the world of reality television.

“I wouldn’t let them. Two of my girls are in real estate – they’re businesswomen, and I like that they’re on that path,” Kyle explained.

Then, when asked about her future in reality television, Kyle said she does not see herself lasting another 10 years on RHOBH.

“Absolutely not. I wouldn’t survive!” she laughed.
