Unless you’ve been living under a rock, most Real Housewives of Atlanta fans know that Marlo Hampton has officially been given her peach after years of being in a “friend of” role. However, according to Marlo, not all of her RHOA costars are too happy about her promotion.

Taking to an Instagram Live session with her fans, Marlo went on to reveal that many of her castmates have shown her little-to-no support.

“Y’all need to help me come up with a tagline. S—t I don’t know what it’s gon be,” she said. “The b—hes be hating. They are not happy…they’re not happy I got a peach. We have some people mad. It’s like b—ch I’ve been here for 10 years! D—n, you can’t be happy for me? Be happy for me! What NeNe said? ‘Support me, b—h!’ I’ve played in the background for long enough. D—n!”

Marlo says she was initially not interested in filling a full-time role and was happy with her salary, but over the years things have changed. Now, she’s really ready to be seen.

In a new interview with The Jasmine Brand, Marlo revealed that the “Hamptons” (what she refers to her fans as) want to see more of her as she’s only been painted in one light throughout her time on RHOA.

“People painted this picture who they wanted me to be and wanted the world to see me as, and it’s like it’s nothing like that. I’m totally different,” she said.

Marlo continued on by saying, “You guys just see the fashion, me being opinionated and strong, outspoken. So, you don’t see me when I’m crying. You don’t see me when I go downstairs with the boys or I’m yelling at William for lying…You know me, but you don’t know me.”

RHOA fans know Marlo can bring the drama, but are you ready to get to know the “real” Marlo in the upcoming season?

No official release date has been set as of yet for season 14 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but filming is well underway and is expected to air early to mid-year on Bravo.
