In her new podcast, Tamra Judge said Real Housewives of Orange County castmates Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson are not “Housewives material.”
The alum also expressed that Gina and Emily’s scenes are rehearsed. The comments were surprising to many fans who believed Tamra and Gina were friends.
As Gina appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she was asked to respond to Tamra’s ‘Housewives-material’ comment. The 37-year-old said, “Well, I mean, I’m in – I’m here, and I’m on the show, so…”
She shrugged and made a face as her costar Jen Armstrong seemed to finish her thought: “…[Tamra’s] not.” The stars laughed loudly as the audience gave Gina a round of applause.
Tamra, who isn’t known to back down, offered her own response to the shade. On Twitter, the alum wrote, “You’re right. You’re on the show and I’m not. And the ratings show…”
The alum included a ‘person-shrugging’ emoji that seemed to mimic Gina’s gesture in the interview.
Tamra isn’t the first person to point out the RHOC ratings. Fellow alum Kelly Dodd expressed repeatedly that Bravo’s new direction with the show was a mistake, which is reflected by the ratings.
She also suggested the new season is an informercial for Heather Dubrowwhile Gina and Emily are kissing her “a**.”
