RHONY’s Teresa Giudice Hospitalized for Emergency Medical Procedure as Rep Speaks Out, Plus Daughter Gia Shares Pic

In breaking news, Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday night for an “emergency medical procedure.”

Speaking with Page Six, Teresa’s rep gave a statement saying, “She is in recovery, currently resting, and thanks everyone for their prayers and well-wishes.”

Teresa’s rep also made it abundantly clear that Thursday’s surgery went well and was absolutely “non-cosmetic” and is expected to be released from the hospital “within the next 24 hours.”

Thursday afternoon, Teresa’s eldest Gia Giudice revealed on Instagram that her mother had been admitted into the emergency room.

She posted , “Such a trooper. I love you,” she wrote alongside a photo of a masked Teresa in a hospital bed.

Gia then asked her followers to “Pray for a speedy recovery” and reiterated “I love you @teresagiudicce.”

Yet, Teresa’s other family members including brother Joe Gorga, sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, fiancé Luis Ruelas, nor her other three daughters have publicly commented on Teresa’s hospitalization. Neither have her RHONJ costars either.

No word as of yet on what caused Teresa’s health scare as the RHONJ star hasn’t shown any symptoms or signs of being ill. She also had shared her pretty healthy lifestyle on her social media and television shows. Even placing 3rd in her very first ever body competition that was well-documented on RHONJ.

Teresa did share on Instagram that she had a procedure performed on her legs to reduce the appearance of varicose veins in February, saying “My legs look and feel great.”

Let’s hope this is not from a complication from that procedure.

Whatever the case, we’re happy to hear that our RHONJ OG was able to get the medical attention she needed and is ready to get back home.

Sending good positive and healing thoughts to Teresa and her family.
