Teresa Giudice is explaining exactly what triggered her table flip 2.0 at Margaret Josephs during The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s cast trip to Nashville, TN, and taking some accountability for her actions.
In a clip from her interview with Housewives Nightcap, Teresa said she wasn’t “going to blame it on the alcohol,” although she did admit she had “so many tequilas that night.”
Speaking with the hosts, Teresa claimed that despite how angry and violently she reacted she “got over it so quick.”
She went on to elaborate that the reason she reacted in the manner that she did was a moment that Bravo producers edited out where Margaret told Teresa, “We wanted [Luis] to win.”
“I’m the type [that] the littlest thing will set me off,” she said. “And you know what set me off? Not her calling me a liar, what set me off is that she actually said, because I kept replaying it in my head, was “we wanted him to win.”
“I was like, ‘you wanted him to win?’…and I’m like ‘HE IS WINNING!’”, Teresa exclaimed.
“And that’s when I threw everything on her. And that’s exactly what she said to me,” Teresa continued. “And I know that [comment] can be a positive thing, but I’m sorry at that moment, I took it as a negative. Because who are you to tell me ‘You wanted him to win’. He is winning, girlfriend, like, shut up!” That’s what triggered me.”
Teresa said that Luis was “shocked” by her behavior as he had “never seen that side” of her.
“That’s the thing, we don’t fight, we communicate,” Teresa said. “I was like, that’s not me…I hate that I got to that point, and I don’t want to show my children that.”
Um, too little too late for that, Teresa.
Let’s see, you’ve flipped multiple tables, shoved Andy Cohen, orchestrated a ponytail pull, etc. The list goes on. Just saying…
“That’s not who I want to be,” she concluded.
