Tamra Judge wasn’t pleased with her friend Vicki Gunvalson, who recently hinted that Tamra’s willingness to “show her t**s” was a reason she was hired back for the Real Housewives of Orange County.
Vicki made the comment in an interview with E! Daily Pop, as she pondered why she herself was not asked to return to the network.
“We’re both individual people,” said Vicki, via Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “She’ll show her t**s, I won’t. But beyond that … There’s obviously something that Bravo doesn’t like about me, and so I had to accept it.”
On her “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast, Tamra revealed her thoughts on the comment, saying she was “lowkey pissed.”
“Well, evidently, Vicki went on a podcast recently and said, why did she not get us back? And I did. And it must be because I’ll show my t**s,” said the star.
Tamra went on “I think she was just being a matter of fact, like, oh, Tamra will show her t**s and I won’t. So that’s why she probably got hired … It was just such a weird thing to say.”
Tamra has not yet confronted Vicki about the comment.
“And things like this, when she says stuff like this, I really just ignore it,” Tamra continued. “Because what am I gonna say? Like, ‘Why would you say that?’ She’s going to say things like that. And quite honestly, I’m not going to react to them. I mean, I couldn’t imagine if she got hired back and I didn’t, I’d be like, ‘So why did she get hired back?’”
Tamra then addressed Vicki’s claim. “It’s not a good [reason]. It’s kind of a bulls*** one,” she explained. “I mean, it lowkey pissed me off, but it’s not worth a fight … What am I gonna be like, ‘Really? That’s what you have to say,’ you know? She said it. It’s over with. You can’t take it back. OK? Note taken. You got to pick your battles with these things.”
Tamra, of course, is no stranger to angering her castmates. In another episode of the podcast, co-host Teddi Mellencamp asked Tamra about her “meanest season” or “worst thing” she did on the show.
In response, Tamra referenced her infamous fight with alum Jeana Keough, which occurred in season 6. “Oh, threw wine in Jeana’s face was probably pretty bad,” she answered, via Heavy, adding that Jeana “wasn’t happy” about it.
“It didn’t go well,” Tamra continued, laughing.
In a 2021 interview with Us Weekly, Jeana opened up about the experience. “Ever got lemon or alcohol in your eye by accident, opening champagne or something? It was maybe a week and a half of [eye] drops and dilated my eyes. It burned. It was like a full glass of wine.”
However, the alum explained that she and Tamra are in a better place. “I always thought we would [make up] because we were all like sisters in the beginning. We watched every episode together at my house. Our kids all were raised together for five or six years. I knew it was just something she did.”
