Former Real Housewives of Atlanta housewife Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband, Apollo Nida, has officially gotten hitched almost seven years after ending his tumultuous marriage to the Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip star.

Apollo, and his new wife, Sherien Almufti, were married back in October 2022, but they are just now making their nuptials public, according to TMZ.

They wed in a small and intimate church ceremony held in Atlanta, Georgia, surrounded by close family and friends. Per the outlet, Phaedra and their two children, Ayden and Dylan, were aware of the couple’s wedding but chose not to attend.

Apollo and Phaedra’s marriage and their 2016 divorce were major plotlines that were heavily featured throughout the couple’s time on RHOA. Apollo famously ended up serving substantial prison time for cashing illegal checks and money laundering upward of $2 million dollars.

However, Apollo says that he and Phaedra have reached an amicable point in their relationship, and the two are primarily focused on successfully co-parenting their children together. That’s a stark contrast to his previous statements, in which he said Phaedra “basically left me to die.”

Moving forward, Apollo is ready to start the new chapter of his life with Sherien, who he says he met nearly a decade ago. In fact, Apollo met Sherien while he was still behind bars. The two became engaged in 2016 — the same year he and Phaedra officially ended their marriage.
