Summer House stars Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula, are all about the good life now that the two newlyweds are done with the chaos of planning their wedding during the COVID pandemic on national television. But what does that look like for their future on the Bravo franchise?
Kyle says he and Amanda are enjoying the “stress-free” side of marriage after what the audience saw the couple go through during season 6 of Summer House. Once the duo began filming Winter House and season 7 of Summer House, Amanda agreed, saying they were in a much more positive headspace.
“In Winter House, I think people are seeing us not in wedding planning mode and having fun together and just not being in a super stressful environment. We’re actually on vacation, and then that trickles into Summer House for us,” Amanda told Hollywood Life.
Amanda continued adding that the two aren’t perfect and may not be exactly in the “honeymoon phase” of marriage, but they are “definitely in a much better place” than they were last year.
“The fact that we were able to have a stress-free summer and winter has just really been wonderful for our relationship,” Amanda gushed.
“It really has made a world of a difference,” Kyle added.
Amanda and Kyle have appeared on Summer House for 7 consecutive seasons. Moving forward, the newlyweds are keeping their options open and are eager to see if their new life and goals align with the show.
“It depends on where the show goes… If it stays true to its roots and it’s about people partying in the Hamptons, I’m out. I can’t do that for the rest of my life,” Amanda confessed. “If it evolves, and it becomes more about like couples, and it’s following everyone’s lives, because we have so many more relationships on the show now, then, yeah, we could stick it out.”
Kyle was a little more flexible and amenable to the idea of continuing on with the show but did agree that he and Amanda’s life trajectory has changed.
“I just never thought we’d be here where we’re married with a company, with dogs, and at some point, we want to start a family,” Kyle explained to the outlet. “And the fact that we’re still filming these things is just kind of so unpredictable, but I think where there’s a will there’s a way!”
Season 7 of Bravo’s Summer House premieres February 13 at P.M. EST
