Family Karma star Anisha Ramakrishna’s “secret husband” has finally been revealed as fans have slammed the star over not revealing her real life on the Bravo reality show.
Marriage documents obtained by Page Six reveal that Anisha’s spouse is Dr. Anand Tarpara, a vascular surgeon who practices in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Anisha has been extremely private about her relationship with Dr. Anand on Family Karma and social media as well. She has previously shared small glimpses of the two on Instagram, but she always makes sure to obscure his face with strategically placed emojis.
During season three of Family Karma, Anisha revealed that the two were maintaining a long-distance relationship, but she has since moved to Arizona to be with her now-husband.
A marriage license confirms that Anisha and Anand filed the necessary paperwork to wed in October 2022.
Back in November of last year, Anisha called Anand her “unicorn,” and she said that she didn’t want people to see her husband because reality television is something he “didn’t sign up for.”
“I think when you’re older, you have more fear around what’s happening and putting things out there,” Anisha told Entertainment Tonight.
However, many fans are accusing Anisha of hypocrisy as she’s more than willing to critique and analyze her co-stars’ relationships, but she won’t provide audiences with a genuine view of her own life, romantic or otherwise.
“Anisha doesn’t have any problems talking about OTHER ppls relationships [but] she just doesn’t want anyone talking about HER relationship. Girl bye. #FamilyKarma,” one fan tweeted back in January.
Another quipped, “I get that Anisha moved to Arizona to move in with her boyfriend…but why isn’t she filming & giving viewers a glimpse of her life there? Why the shroud of secrecy? Is this building up to a reveal ceremony? Like what’s up?”
During a January Watch What Happens Live appearance, Anisha told Andy Cohen that she has a “private until permanent” policy in regard to sharing her romantic life.
Earlier this month, the only reference Anisha had made seemingly made regarding her relationship with Anand is an Instagram post she captioned, “2023-I’m taken and photos are back.”
With the couple now being married, fans seem to agree that marriage is about as permanent as it gets, and they are ready for Anisha to be more transparent.
However, the Family Karma star has yet to comment on the marriage reveal.
