Despite engaging in an explosive and “raw” argument in the Summer House season seven trailer, Kyle Cooke has just revealed that he and his best friend and LoverBoy business partner, Carl Radke, are on great terms.

“Carl and I have nothing but love and respect for one another and everyone’s gonna see that,” Kyle told Page Six during their Toast with the Host launch party for LoverBoy, which was held at Mohegan Sun on Friday night.

The heated brawl that broke out between the two was a result of trying to maintain the boundaries between their working relationship and personal friendship. Carl joined Kyle’s beverage company as the Vice-President of Sales.

In the trailer, Carl can be seen storming off from his and Kyle’s argument, yelling at Bravo cameras and exclaiming he’s “done” with Kyle and Loverboy. Kyle promptly screams, “[You could] walk away from the company right now and the company won’t feel a f***ing thing!”

Despite all the drama, Kyle asserts that though it’s difficult to navigate a business relationship with a best friend, he and Carl are “good.”

“I mean, obviously, it’s challenging working with your wife and your best friend, so it’s almost like I want to remind people that that in itself is not normal, and then you put it on TV, and it’s another level of crazy,” Kyle explained.

Kyle’s wife and Summer House co-star, Amanda Batula, also works for LoverBoy as the company’s Creative Director. Amanda says that Kyle and Carl “really go through it” on season seven of the Bravo show, and she’s “interested” to watch the situation unfold as she’s only “heard one side” of the story.

Amanda went on to tease that the season seven drama will mostly revolve around friendship dynamics as opposed to romantic relationships, and she says that it will be “hard” for many of her castmates to rewatch, seemingly referring to the fallout between Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera.

Summer House season seven airs on Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo.
