Teddi Mellencamp says Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke are using the “Twitter audience” for “validation,” and warns them to “reel in the ego.” She also addressed her previous stint on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and her status as a fan favorite before she became “hated.”

Both Sutton and Garcelle have confronted castmate Erika Jayne – season after season – garnering constant praise from Erika’s vocal critics on social media.

On her “Two T’s In A Pod” podcast, Teddi addressed Garcelle and Sutton’s positions as fan favorites.

She accused the two stars of using “Twitter audience as validation.” The alum added, “You may want to reel in the ego a touch, because every favorite falls.”

Teddi then alluded to her past stint on the show, when some viewers considered her a “favorite” as well.

The podcast host noted “how quickly” she became “hated” by the fan base.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Garcelle and Sutton have been accused of pandering to fans. Many viewers believe their feuds are calculated, intentionally targeting whoever the audience hates.

Before the fans turned on Erika, both Sutton, and Garcelle were friendly with the pop singer, who was kind to both of them. After her husband Tom Girardi‘s legal scandal, however, the newbies appeared to find endless reasons to have drama with Erika, beyond just her lawsuits.

This is a comment criticism in the current era of the franchise – that castmates are manipulating storylines to appeal to social media – which strips the show of its former authenticity.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is currently filming.
