Kroy Biermann has filed for divorce – again – amid marital struggles with wife Kim Zolciak, according to reports.
The couple, who starred on Real Housewives of Atlanta and Don’t Be Tardy, filed earlier this year before deciding to reconcile.
The husband and wife are reportedly facing a $1.1 million tax debt, and they are currently selling their luxury clothes and bags to raise funds. Before the seemingly short-lived reconciliation, both sides made shocking accusations against the other.
According to divorce papers obtained by TMZ, Kroy filed for divorce again on Thursday, stating that his marriage with Kim is “irretrievably broken.” The Bravo star is seeking sole and legal physical custody of the four children as well as alimony and child support.
The former athlete also wants exclusive use of their marital home – where they’ve lived throughout the rocky history of their relationship.
Insiders told the outlet that the couple was arguing about money for weeks before Kroy’s filing as the situation became “nasty.”
Sources claimed their arguments centered on the failure to pay certain bills, and each side blamed the other for the financial difficulties.
“They’ve gotten ridiculously petty over who hasn’t paid bills. They’re counting down to pennies,” said one insider.
A source also shared that the husband was continually threatening to file, though he didn’t follow through until a fight on Thursday morning when Kim allegedly dared him to do it.
The RHOA alum has not yet offered a public statement.
