Taylor Armstrong opened up about her drunken encounter with the paparazzi after the video went viral last week. During the strange interaction, which took place outside a West Hollywood restaurant, Taylor teased the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion – which hasn’t occurred yet – and argued with a reporter who didn’t know her name.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is now a ‘friend’ on RHOC, and she has already fallen into drama with castmate Heather Dubrow after shading the 54-year-old’s acting career.
In an interview for Tamra Judge‘s Two Ts In A Pod podcast, Taylor addressed the strange video.
The star revealed she was “ambushed,” and she now “blame[s]” her husband John Bluher because they hired a new “driver” who he claimed was “outside.”
“Well ‘outside’ meant ‘down the block.’ That’s not where you pick people up at Craig’s [the restaurant],” said Taylor, who claimed this was the reason she was “standing outside.”
Taylor claimed she didn’t like her dinner that night and therefore didn’t eat much – though she decided to have “a martini.”
“You know I can hold my alcohol, so I don’t really know what happened,” she continued before Tamra explained that the West Hollywood restaurant is a “paparazzi haven … They’re outside waiting for whoever.”
Taylor then addressed the inaccuracies of her statements, saying her dress was actually “red” instead of “orange” as she indicated in the video.
At the time, she told the paparazzi that she had just spoken to Entertainment Tonight. “I didn’t even do Entertainment Tonight,” Taylor expressed. “I said, ‘E Tonight’ — I don’t even know what that is. That’s a new show we should create.”
“It was like the cheapest drunk I’ve ever been,” she went on. “I don’t understand what happened … It was a long day.”
Despite her other comments, Taylor doubled down on her belief that the upcoming reunion will be the “dirtiest” ever. “It’s gonna be dirty, Tamra. You know it,” she said. “I’m trying to channel my inner Tamra and not be nervous [about the taping].”
Taylor hinted at some “opinions” she wants to share regarding what certain co-stars have said about her friends.
