RHOC's Heather Dubrow Says She Was "Shocked" by Taylor Feud, Suggests Movie Drama Was for "Storyline," and Why She Was "Concerned" About Tamra and Shannon's Reconciliation

Heather Dubrow claims she never expected to be involved in a feud with Taylor Armstrong amid the 17th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

In addition to sharing her thoughts on the reason behind her movie role spat with Taylor during a podcast appearance days ago, Heather addressed her issues with Tamra Judge and revealed why she was concerned about Tamra’s reconciliation with Shannon Beador.

“I was concerned, and assumed, that the two of them would become friends,” Heather explained on the June 23 episode of Hollywood Life‘s Pay Attention, Puh-Lease podcast. “Assumed because I wanted them to become friends again. Concerned because I was concerned I would be the odd man out, which did end up happening.”

Although Heather thought she would have an “easy season” after being “blindsided” by “the whole lawsuit thing” last year, season 17 was rough on her.

“I didn’t see it coming at all,” Heather admitted. “I thought okay well Tamra’s coming back. We’ve always had fun together. Honestly, in all our years together, we had a problem maybe once. And we were going along and then all of a sudden, I felt like, how did everything go south? I don’t know. I’m interested to watch it.”

As the season continues, viewers are expected to see a fallout between Heather and Tamra, who has been open about the fact that the two of them are no longer on good terms. And when asked if Tamra made their dispute “personal,” Heather seemed to agree.

“Isn’t everything personal?” she asked.

Also on the Hollywood Life‘s Pay Attention, Puh-Lease, Heather commented on her tension with Taylor, which began after she assumed Taylor’s movie role offer was nothing more than “drunk plans.”

“We’re on that boat. I was definitely over-served myself. I know I was the great [interrupter], but I was just hammered. I was happy,” Heather said, giving a nod to Emily Simpson‘s suggestion that she’s made a habit of interrupting people. “And then she [Taylor] called me in the car on my way home. And then you saw all of our text messages to each other. I was like, ‘You were serious?’ I mean, she knew I didn’t think she was serious.”

According to Heather, she didn’t take Taylor seriously became she never got a formal offer and was never contacted by a higher-up.

“If they had called me they would send a script and it would be the most updated script. It was weird. There was never any real connection to this project. And by the way, after this past year there still has never been. No one ever reached out to me,” Heather confirmed.

Then, after Heather was asked if she felt Taylor was acting out against her for a “storyline,” she agreed.

“Yeah,” she stated.

Looking back on the drama, which is expected to continue on the June 28 episode, during which Heather will be seen slamming Taylor for talking “sh-t” about her “career,” Heather confessed to being unsure about how things got so bad between them.

“I went to Taylor’s, we had this really great day where we worked on her script and I read with her and we had this great time and I left on a high. And then you see a piece of this, but some of us went shopping, and I started to get an idea that this was becoming a thing, which shocked me,” Heather explained. “And then we got to Montana, and you’ll have to see what happens there, but I thought it was handled, and it wasn’t.”
