Love Is Blind is one of the most popular dating shows and brings a unique twist. The show is in its sixth season, and fans seem to be more invested than ever. This is shown by the reaction the audience had to contestant Chelsea Blackwell comparing herself to Megan Fox. Now, she is responding to the backlash.
This happened during the recent season of the show. Fans were upset because Chelsea ended up being picked, and they felt the comparison to Megan was probably a main factor. Viewers dragged Chelsea and made numerous mean comments.
Chelsea took to her TikTok account to offer a lighthearted response. In her video, she jokingly said that it was time for anyone who had ever compared her to the actress to come out.
“This would be a great time for the people who have ever told me that I resemble her to come forward. Please I am begging you,” said Chelsea as she laughed.
@chelseadblackwell Will the real megan fox please stand up. #loveisblind #loveisblindnetflix #loveisblindseason6
During the first episode of this season, Chelsea, 31, told her Love Is Blind co-star Jimmy Presnell, who couldn’t see her face, that she’s been told plenty of times that she resembles the actress.
“It’s just because I have dark hair and blue eyes,” she added. “But I don’t see it, so don’t get excited.”
The flight attendant and event planner also shared a reel on Instagram where she included a caption discussing going on reality TV only to be “dragged” online.
Some of the comments online addressed the idea that it’s actually Jessica who favors Megan.
Jimmy picked Chelsea cos she said people tell her she looks like Megan Fox not knowing that it’s actually Jessica that actually looks like Megan Fox. Someone get him that Epipen. #LoveIsBlind pic.twitter.com/9sRxcxovce

Others think that the show needs stricter rules on talking about appearance.
Love is Blind needs to make it an official unbreakable rule that they CANNOT talk about appearances cause you can see the moment Jimmy decided on Chelsea and it was just based on the fact she said she gets she “looks” like Megan Fox #LoveIsBlindS6 pic.twitter.com/qQUmlsbAV0

While having lighthearted comments about what happens on reality TV is okay, people should be mindful of how mean comments can impact others. This is especially the case when millions of people can have a say.
