Raquel Leviss slammed Tom Sandoval for allegedly filming her without permission, said her “trauma therapy” helped her process it, and revealed a phone call with Tom after it happened.
The Vanderpump Rules alum – who had a relationship with Tom while he was still with Ariana Madix – claimed Tom treated her like his “girlfriend” when they traveled to St. Louis to visit his mom. According to Raquel, his mom claimed Ariana hadn’t visited in years.
“It took me a while to process Tom recording me without me knowing,” said Raquel on her Rachel Goes Rogue podcast. “And it was so chaotic that I didn’t have, like, that ability to process what just happened. It was like survival mode.”
Raquel said she was able to start “decompressing what he did” when she began her “trauma therapy.”
She then recalled a phone call with Tom when she confronted him about it.
“I remember telling him on the phone … ‘I don’t think that I will be able to forgive you for this,'” she shared. “A week later he’s like trying to get me to hire his lawyer and fire my lawyer, and he like had a slip-up and he said, ‘The last thing that we need you to do right now is to go rogue.'”
According to Raquel, she processed this conversation in art therapy, painted out the conversation, and fantasized about calling him to say she’d “gone rogue.”
“I guess my question is: Is it okay not to forgive somebody?” she asked.
She also recalled traveling with Tom to visit his family in St. Louis during their affair.
“It honestly felt like I was his girlfriend,” she said. “He brought me to his mom’s house, and we made food and I slept downstairs in their like basement area … The way Tom would present things made it feel so normal.”
Raquel claimed they would both “drink a lot” to “relieve the stress” of the affair. She called out the “messed up position” Tom put his mom in because she had to keep “the secret for her son.”
“But I think she also knew that Tom and Ariana haven’t been good for quite some time,” she continued. “[His mom told me,] ‘Ariana hasn’t come to St. Louis in years.’ And this isn’t to excuse it either, because Tom needed to make that public that they were no longer in a relationship.”
