After The Valley’s finale, Jax Taylor suggested his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright has been “sleeping with” another man for the “past 4 months” amid their separation. Fans then reacted, with one viewer hoping the guy is “HAWT AS HELL.”
During the episode, Brittany addressed packing her bags and leaving the house they once shared with their son. Throughout the season, the exes opened up about their issues, including Jax’s refusal to go to therapy. Brittany claimed their final fight took place after Jax came home after a night of drinking and yelled at her for hours in front of their son. Because of this, Brittany took Cruz and moved out – and she hasn’t come back.
Following the finale, Jax took to X to write a cryptic post about his wife, who left him sometime around February.
“You may want to ask Brittany who she’s been sleeping with for the past 4 months,” he wrote, via @bravoandcocktails_ on Instagram.
Fans then reacted in the comments.
“I hope he is HAWT AS HELL ❤️,” wrote one fan of the alleged mystery man, alluding to Brittany’s famous ‘rot in hell’ line, which she directed at Jax years ago after discovering his past infidelity.
“I love how he thinks we’re all going to be outraged by this when really we are like good for Brittany!” said another.
“In true narcissist style Jax tries to put it back on Brittney. We see you Jax,” wrote a third user.
Another viewer echoed the ‘narcissist’ accusation: “Typical covert narcissist move, now HE is the victim. Ladies, learn the signs of a narcissist and run and [save] yourself years of stress and sickness. They do not change … Women have to stop with this self narrative talk of ‘oh he needs me or I can change him’. Women deserve better.”
“Did he actually tweet this thinking people would be on his side??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 good for you Brittany,” said a different fan. “It’s been a long time coming, hope he’s super hot 🙌.”
“If he wanted to make it work with her he [wouldn’t] tweet, post, comment or say anything about his wife and the mother of his child,” wrote another critic. “Grow up dude, you did this. You pushed her away.”
“Hope she’s pregnant,” said a different fan, referring to Brittany’s wish to have another baby. “Jax … takes every opportunity to bad mouth and put down Britney. He is an infant and she’s better off without him.”
