Season two of The Real Housewives of Dubai is coming to a close, and fans of the show feel that its second outing was better than the first. This is despite the show being one of the lowest-rated in the Housewives franchise. Now, Lesa Milan is opening up about what it takes to get her kids to appear on the show and her drama with her castmates. She’s also reacting to criticisms of her business.

As fans know, Lesa has faced a bit of backlash for some of her treatment of the ladies on the show. Notably, a recent clip from the upcoming reunion has fans upset over her calling Chanel Ayan a professional victim.

Recently, Lesa appeared on Melissa Gorga‘s On Display podcast for an interview. The two ladies had a lot of fun banter, and Lesa even sang a bit of Melissa’s iconic “On Display” song. One of the most memorable moments came when Lesa admitted she had to bribe her kids to appear on RHODubai

She said, “I have to pay my kids. So, my bribe to them is like any episode that you’re in, you guys get paid. I give them each $1,000 per episode.”

She continued, “That’s just me as a mom because they’re working.”

The two Bravo ladies also discussed dealing with critics. Specifically, Lesa called them “critics without credentials.”

She explained, “When I say critics without credentials, I mean I’m working with women who don’t really have businesses, who don’t know what it takes. The sleepless nights, the investments, everything that it takes that I put into my business. Naturally, they think it’s okay to attack someone’s business. I think when you’ve grown a business or you just have a business, you’ll never attack another entrepreneur.”

She continued to shade some of her cast members by saying, “Everyone says that they have a business, but an idea is very different than having a business. Putting something on Instagram with the hope that one day it turns into a business is completely different from actually starting a business.”

Lesa also addressed some of the drama with Caroline Stanbury. She said, “So for me, it started out as just like tip for tap, but then she wanted to like escalate and take it further and take it further.”

She added, “But I think low-key she has like a bee in her bonnet about me. I don’t want to call her Karen, but she doesn’t want anybody else on the cast to have more than her.”

Fans can watch RHODubai on Tuesday nights.
