Scheana Shay clapped back after her friend Lala Kent suggested that Vanderpump Rules has “no more story to tell,” and she shared how a “hypothetical season 12” would look “different” from past seasons. The star also admitted that she doesn’t “know” if the show will return.

In season 11, certain co-stars barely seemed to interact amid the aftermath of Tom Sandoval’s affair with Rachel Leviss. In some ways, it seems the cast played it safe as they were scared to catch the wrath of fans still angry about the cheating scandal.

On her Scheananigans podcast, Scheana refuted Lala’s suggestion on Jeff Lewis Live that the show has no more story left to tell.

“I do not agree with that,” she said. “I don’t feel like our story ended in San Francisco. I feel like there’s always gonna be story left to tell because we’re gonna be living our lives.”

But Scheana added that a “hypothetical season 12” would look “different” than past seasons.

“You know, we’re not gonna be going on a big group trip,” she said, seemingly alluding to the divided cast. “I do think, though, we owe it to the audience who has followed us for the past 11 seasons to just continue sharing our story whether that is onto a new chapter or the final one.”

“I think we’ve at least got one more,” she added. “But I don’t know anything for sure. That’s just how I feel.”

Last week, a source told The Daily Mail why season 12 may be the current cast’s final season.

“There’s so many issues between various cast members and it’s no longer an organic group of friends that want to hang out with each other,” said the source. “In the past they’ve been able to come back from some of the worst fights imaginable so there’s still hope that they can all move forward and have a fresh start.”

“Nothing has been decided yet as far as the future of the show, but it can’t continue this way so things are definitely going to change,” the insider added.

As of now, Vanderpump Rules is still on hiatus.
