Jesse Solomon teased the Summer House reunion and a “big announcement” that “surprised” the entire cast. Around the same time, podcaster Nick Viall accused Jesse of “flak[ing]” on an interview, as Lexi Wood suggested he’s trying to “control the narrative.”

In the new season, Jesse seemingly insinuated that Lexi, amid their former budding romance, was being clingy. But Lexi later explained to her costars that he was telling her a different story. At one point, she shared how Jesse even accused her of flirting with his friend, West Wilson.

On an Amazon Live session, Jesse teased the recently filmed reunion.

“There was like a big announcement that we were all very surprised by,” he said, via @facereality16 on Instagram, “but can’t tell you what.”

“The girls on our show are just seasoned reunion queens,” he added. “So I was definitely like — I’m not an anxious guy — but I think a little nervous going into this one, just considering the circumstances. So I’m really happy it’s over. I got a decent amount off my chest and I’m feeling good.”

Meanwhile, on The Viall Files podcast, Nick Viall revealed his own drama with Jesse – while interviewing his ex, Lexi.

“Earlier in the season, someone from my team told me that [Jesse] was interested in pitching me something,” recalled Nick, via @thebravoinvestigator on Instagram. “And I said great, I’m interested in hearing [it], but let’s get him on [my podcast] first and we’ll go from there.”

Later on, as Jesse’s drama with Lexi unfolded in the season, Nick really wanted to interview him.

“There was a ton of back and forth [between us], a lot of moving the goalpost,” he continued. “I was starting to get pretty annoyed, and then he finally like texted me and flaked. [He] essentially blamed [Lexi].”

“He blamed me?” asked Lexi, confused. “I haven’t even talked to this man.”

“Well he basically said … [that] he realized how much you got hurt, and [he] didn’t think he should speak on it at all,” Nick answered. “And [he] basically kind of just used your feelings as a cop out.”

Lexi then doubted that Jesse was telling the truth. She then slammed him for a recent interview in which he suggested she was “lying” about his accusation that she was flirting with West.

“I am just a girl,” she said. “When you cross girls, we turn into FBI agents. We have screenshots, and we have we have a lot of things. And I don’t … speak on anything unless I have proof … He’s been caught in a lot of lies on TV.”

“When certain people can no longer control you, they like to control the narrative around you,” she added. “And I think that that’s what he thought he was doing, until everybody watching was seeing exactly how I felt. And I think that he doesn’t like that.”
