Season nine of Selling Sunset has yet to premiere, but it seems fans are in for quite the ride once the cast of real estate agents returns. Recently, Nicole Young took to social media to slam the show following filming the reunion, as she felt there was an agenda to silence her.
Nicole, 39, joined Netflix’s Selling Sunset during the show’s sixth season. However, she had been with the Oppenheim Group since 2014, which means she has quite a bit of real estate experience.
Nicole posted her rant about the show on TikTok on August 17. In the video, she wore a pair of white yoga pants and a black zip-up jacket. The Selling Sunset star also ate from a bag of popcorn as she recounted what happened at the season nine reunion.

She started, “Just got home from the reunion. Let me tell you about my day.” She stated that she arrived at the reunion set at about 8:30 and began to get her hair and makeup done. She also noted that the call time was set for 9:00, so she was early. Nicole continued, “I’m fully ready by 10:15, 10:30. I sit in my trailer for so long that I watch four movies.”
She went on, “So, 6:00 rolls around, by the way, I’ve been in hair and makeup for hours. So, anyway, they finally bring me out to the set, and they sit me down, and they want me to address one specific instance. So I do, and then the moderator goes, ‘Okay, thanks, Nicole, great to see you.'”
Nicole then said, “I really just never experienced a situation where it was so obvious that the intent was to not give me the opportunity to speak. Unreal, but you know what? Sometimes you just have to recognize things that just no longer serve you, and this is one of them.”
From there, she held up her middle finger and reassured her viewers that she wasn’t speaking to them. She added, “Well, guess what, stay here, ya’ll, I’m gonna have my own reunion. Unfortunately, I can’t give you those details until October 29th or after October 29th, but trust me, I will not be silenced.”
It’s worth noting that a report surfaced in January that Nicole had been put on pause following a heated exchange with cast member Chrishell Stause, 43. Following this, Jason Oppenheim, 47, was said to have told her to “take a step back” from the real estate agency. This is said to have happened in November 2024, and she allegedly didn’t film for the show following the event.
Selling Sunset season nine premieres on October 29 on Netflix.
