REPORT: Selling Sunset Facing Possible Cancellation Amid Cast Feud With Producers Over Emma Hernan Rumors

Selling Sunset season eight has been one of the most talked-about reality TV shows in recent years. Multiple cast members have been exposed for things that may or may not be true, racist tweets have resurfaced, and now, it seems the show may be in trouble.

A recent report says that some of the cast has threatened to quit over rumors about Emma Hernan.

Selling Sunset has been on the air since 2019. Since then, there have been several cast changes. However, the cast this season seems both more divided and more unified than ever. This year, Nicole Young helped spread rumors that Emma was involved in an affair with a married man. Since then, many of the people on the show have gone to bat for Emma.

Now, according to Radar Online, Selling Sunset might be in limbo after some of the cast told producers they won’t return because of the rumors. Specifically, they feel that it was unfair for the show’s producers not to allow Emma to address the allegations on camera despite allowing the rumors to air.

Notably, Chrishell Stause has been one of Emma’s most avid supporters. She has publically called the rumors “disgusting” and “categorically false.” Regarding the producers allowing the rumors on the show, she said on her Instagram account, “Are we really still giving air time to LIARS that just want air time? I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued.”

Chelsea Lazkani has also spoken out about the rumors about Emma. Like Chrishell, she said the producers of Selling Sunset were “spreading lies for views.”

The backlash also caused Nicole to respond. However, her response wasn’t an apology but a line of defense for herself. She also doubled down on the rumors about Emma. According to her, “As a married woman, I strongly and confidently stand for the sanctity of all marriages. Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you (Chrishell) need to ask your bestie (Hernan) some tough questions.”

Only time will tell what happens with Selling Sunset moving forward. Fans can watch the show on Netflix.
