Emma Hernan‘s real age has finally been revealed.
Following many years in which the Selling Sunset cast member’s age was inaccurately reported, a social media post shared by her mother, Stephanie Hernan, has confirmed that Emma is actually two years older than previously assumed.
“This is what happens when [your] daughter turns 24 and has fireball shots … Happy birthday Emma,” Stephanie had written in a post on December 28, 2013, confirming that Emma is now 34, not 32, which has been widely reported by other media outlets.
Emma’s actual birthday is December 29, meaning she will be turning 35 in a couple of months.
In Emma’s defense, it doesn’t appear she has ever lied about her age. It was just something that was being incorrectly reported.
In other Selling Sunset news, Variety has confirmed that Netflix will not be filming a season eight reunion. As the drama among the cast plays out not only on the show but also online, the streaming platform has decided it will not reunite the ladies to hash out their drama for a final episode of the season.
As fans have likely seen, a social media feud erupted before the season premiere with Chrishell Stause, 43, calling out Nicole Young, 38, for suggesting — on three different on-camera occasions — that Emma had engaged in an affair with a married man.
“I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued,” Chrishell told her fans and followers in a post shared to her Instagram Story, tagging producer Adam DiVello’s Done and Done Productions. “And you are disgusting for blindsiding her with this to see with the world instead of letting her at LEAST defend herself with the TRUTH.”
Chelsea Lazkani, 31, spoke out as well, slamming Nicole as “the most diabolical piece of [trash]” and lashing out at their producers.
“[Done and Done Productions] where is your moral ground and integrity?? Spreading lies for views is so damaging,” she stated.
On Selling Sunset, Nicole first said that she heard “from a reliable source” that Emma had likely had relations with a married man, and she later added that she “wouldn’t trust Emma with [her] husband.”
Further dividing the cast has been Bre Tiesi’s ongoing feud with Chelsea, which was further fueled amid season eight when Bre, 33, brought up rumors about Chelsea’s now-estranged husband, Jeff Lazkani, potentially cheating on her.
