Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley have been in the news quite a bit thanks to their recent release from prison. Now, the family has made its grand return to television, but it seems many of them are divided as Chase Chrisley claims his sister, Savannah Chrisley, caused a bit of a rift.

The Chrisleys: Back to Reality was announced in July 2025. The show premiered on Lifetime on September 1, and the first episodes offered an up-close and personal look at the family as they worked to have Todd and Julie released from their prison sentences.

Grayson Chrisley opened up about his fractured relationship with his brother on the second episode of the new series. He did so by comparing their relationship to the one Todd has with his brother, Randy. Grayson said, “My issue is, I see a lot of the same things with me and Chase as I saw with my dad and his brother.”

He continued, “You know, we don’t really talk to him much ’cause my dad was always having to bail him out of stuff. And [my dad] tried to help him his whole life. … You can’t help somebody who doesn’t wanna help themselves.” From there, Chase went into more detail in a confessional about what went wrong between him and Grayson.

Chase stated, “I don’t get to see Grayson as often as I’d like. I feel like Savannah’s kind of driven a little wedge there.” Luckily, it seems things could be on the mend for the brothers as they were planning to go golfing together. Chase said he was happy to “have a good time” with him and to “ask him about college [and] how he’s been doing.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Grayson and Savannah lamented that Chase was not in tune with the family while their parents were behind bars. Grayson said, “Chase lives in his own world that only exists to him. Doesn’t exist to anybody else. At the end of the day, he’s gonna do what he’s gonna do and there’s nothing anybody can [do to] change it.”

From there, Chase and Grayson had a heart-to-heart conversation. Grayson told Chase, “You’re my brother, I love you. I would love for you to have your life together.” However, he then shifted the blame to Savannah, saying, “Savannah just wants to be worshipped, and I’m not doing that. I don’t know what her beef is with me.”

He continued, “I know Savannah’s trying to paint me out to be this big, bad monster that’s not there for the family, but that’s just not the case. I wanna be there for my family. I want us to actually have a family dynamic and a family relationship.”

Chase then said in a confessional, “I’ve reached out and I’ve apologized for anything she feels that I’ve done, or haven’t done. And I told her that I’m here when she’s ready. I just don’t think she’s ready right now.” Ultimately, Grayson said that Chase’s apology wasn’t genuine. Their golf outing ended with Chase saying to a producer, “We’re not getting anywhere with this. It’s a s*** show.”
