Lisa is SO back on this episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. But after hearing from Heather what went down during the RV trip, she is displeased with the group, especially Bronwyn. Bronwyn, however, is not one to shy away from an angry Lisa. Bronwyn claps back hard and Lisa is left slinging empty threats and mean insults.
The RV gals wake up after a night of spooky legends and Blair Witch style videos. Despite the ending of last week’s episode, nothing happened. As Meredith states, “it’s too big of a liability for the network,” and she is not wrong. In true camp-out style, they begin to cook (a term I use loosely) their breakfast.
Heather talks about how soon she will be an empty-nester and shares she is excited for this new era of her life. She is done trying to be a family since her husband left. Heather explains that she is exhausted and guilty for looking forward to her youngest heading to college.
Bronwyn shares her “insecurity” as a mom by herself, but she feels the opposite of Heather. She is not ready to let her daughter, Gwen, move out. She is unsure of who she is without her daughter, but Heather feels like Bronwyn is coming after her for her feelings. Things get tense for a bit until Whitney explains that all she wants to be is a stay-at-home mom and now she cannot.
Whitney’s business WAS successful, until it wasn’t. This is a new “phase of failure” and they all agree how fickle life can be. Mary states that Robert Jr. is going one day at a time with his recovery. She applauds Heather for raising three daughters by herself and after opening up about mom strife, the ladies prepare to head back home in the RV. Except the RV gets stuck…and these ladies (well, all but Mary) are forced to push it to freedom.
Back at home, Amy’s fabulous party is the talk of the town. Amy is evidently a Utah socialite, which leaves me wondering, just who IS Amy and why is she not holding a snowflake?
Heather meets up with Lisa and wastes no time stirring the pot. She tells Lisa she was the talk of the trip and explains that Bronwyn researched Lisa’s lawsuits. Heather goes on to say that Bronwyn was on the trip to “annihilate” Lisa.
In defense mode, Lisa claims she did not do anything and that these lawsuits are getting dismissed. In an effort to make herself feel better, Lisa states, “I live a very different life from all of you. Everybody knows I do big things.” Oh, Lisa.
This tough facade melts once Lisa learns that Meredith did not defend her and that Angie added fuel to the hate-on-Lisa fire. Heather omits that Britani stood up for Lisa and Lisa begins spiraling, prepping to come in hot since it appears as though everyone (friends, included) is so quick to talk about her life.
Whitney and Bronwyn snowboard and debrief about the trip. Bronwyn wonders where she stands with Heather and thanks Whitney for sticking up for her. Regarding the Lisa lawsuits, Bronwyn muses about John’s involvement with Vida and wonders why the lawsuit would suggest Lisa did not want John to know about the money.
In the court documents, Lisa acknowledges the debt, but who is this mystery man and his AmEx? Is this who Angie talks about with Lisa? It seems like Bronwyn is outing Lisa as a form of revenge since Lisa blew up her spot about THE necklace…
Robert Jr. comes to talk to Mary. He explains that he is no longer in that dark place, but it’s still there. Mary wants Robert to retrain his mindset, but Robert admits that it is scarier than he thought it would be because now he has to change who he is as a person.
He feels isolated and admits that he is turning to drugs once again, smoking weed to help him get that stimuli he craves. Mary realizes that she needs to back off a bit and trust Robert makes the right decision with his life choices.
Bronwyn meets Heather so they can figure out if they can really be friends in a one-on-one setting. Bronwyn clarifies that she was trying to be supportive of Heather as she navigates this new chapter of her kid-free time, but Heather feels like Bronwyn made her feel bad for not wanting to be hands-on any more.
Heather ultimately chooses to accept Bronwyn’s apology and move on, but the whole Lisa situation is bugging Heather. Bronwyn explains that Lisa continues to bash her and so Heather assumes Bronwyn brought the lawsuits to light as a form of retaliation.
Amy’s Saturday social part is underway. Jared is there as Britani’s plus one and all of the “Park City OGs” have gathered. Lisa is nervous to be attending now that she knows the ladies are ready to pounce and when she enters the party, the only one excited to see her is Heather.
Lisa calls out Meredith for not sticking up for her. Britani shares that Bronwyn was throwing facts out of the air and that Angie compared Lisa to Jen Shah. Lisa is appalled that this comparison was made, considering she was always a good friend to Angie.
Lisa beelines over to Angie and confronts her about what was said. Angie makes it clear that Bronwyn was bringing the documents and the information. When Bronwyn comes over, Lisa makes it clear that she doesn’t care enough about her to address her, even though all anger should be directed towards Bronwyn. BUT, Lisa will engage and go tit for tat, evidently. Bronwyn reminds Lisa that she talked to everyone about her and Lisa calls Bronwyn a “gout d*ck sucker,” which is a new one…
Lisa went really low, really fast. She goes on to say that Bronwyn only has clothes because of her sexual favors to her husband, but Bronwyn claps back. She asks Lisa who is paying for HER clothes and who is paying THAT AmEx listed in the court cases?
Bravo’s producers slap up the aleged proof: “Plaintiffs made payments on an American Express card issued in Barlow’s name, but residing and managed under ****** personal American Express account.”
According to Bronwyn, only cash can clear up Lisa’s lawsuits and no amount of yelling will help. Lisa seems to be fighting an uphill battle, especially when Bronwyn owns up to having ups and downs in her marriage when Lisa tries to attack it.
Bronwyn wonders out loud if John is aware of the court document Lisa wanted him specifically kept out of. Lisa threatens to post a website of all of Bronwyn’s lies…(Paging Monica….)? What is an angry Lisa going to do?
