Caroline Manzo remains one of the most talked-about Real Housewives of New Jersey despite it being years since she last appeared on the show. Of course, many fans also remember her kids, including Lauren Manzo. Recently, fans have noticed the significant changes she has undergone since her last appearance on Bravo.
Caroline, 64, joined RHONJ for the show’s first season in 2009. However, she left the series after the conclusion of its fifth season. After that, she led a spin-off, Manzo’d with Children, for three seasons. More recently, she filmed for the still unaired Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Morocco season and is currently suing Bravo.
Lauren, 37, and her brothers, Albie Manzo, 39, and Christopher Thomas Manzo, 36, appeared in several episodes from the early seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. In fact, they were significant parts of Caroline’s storylines. Recently, a fan on Reddit uncovered new photos of Lauren after rewatching the series and deemed her unrecognizable.

One of the photos features Lauren with her daughter. In it, both are wearing white. Another photo is a close-up of Lauren as she sits at what appears to be a lunch or dinner outing. In this one, she’s smiling and wearing a black tank top and jeans.

The person who shared the post on the platform said, “I’m doing a re-watch and I’m on season 4. Caroline is ‘helping’ Lauren with her ‘weight issues’ (the 2010s were a fking nightmare for body image issues). They have her on this RIDICULOUS diet that Lauren says is ‘One step above being anorexic.'”
The post continued, “Sure, Lauren was visibly overweight, but if I had a dollar for every time Caroline talked about how she was 94lbs when she got married and how skinny her sons are compared to Lauren and how Lauren got the Manzo genes & that’s why she’s bigger…. GOOD LORD, no wonder Lauren went full throttle, how traumatizing!!!!”
The person then said, “I couldn’t help but look up how she looks now, and while she’s beautiful (always has been), I couldn’t help but be sad. I legitimately could not recognize her in ANY of the photos; the only thing I could recognize was her pretty dimple. Ugh, I hope she’s doing well. I loved Lauren.”
Regarding Lauren today, she married Vito Scalia in July 2015, and they had their daughter two years later. However, according to Bravo, Lauren announced that they were divorcing in 2023. She has also been open about her weight loss journey, stating in 2023 that she had lost 30 pounds.
