Tom Schwartz revealed the shocking six-figure amount he lost in Schwartz & Sandy’s, shared an update with ex Jo Wenberg, and addressed his most controversial moments on Vanderpump Rules.
Amid Scandoval, Schwartz and his business partner, Tom Sandoval, had to close down their cocktail lounge and restaurant two years after it opened in 2022. The business played a role in the men’s friendship break, despite their tight alliance leading up to it.
On her Untraditionally Lala podcast, Lala Kent asked how much Tom invested in Schwartz & Sandy’s.
“I probably lost 600, 700 grand,” he answered, via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram, “which is insane. I don’t know, 600 grand, maybe.”
Lala then asked where he stands with Jo, who accused him on the show of keeping their relationship a secret.
“I haven’t talked to her,” said Tom. “[We’re] far apart, but there’s no bad blood. I wish nothing but the best for her, but I kept her blocked for some private reasons and stuff. But no, I honestly, if she hears this, I’m always rooting for her. I hope she’s doing well.”
Later on, Lala questioned why he threw a drink on his now-ex-wife, Katie Maloney, during an argument on a past season.
“[That was] the first and only time in my entire life I’ve done that,” he said. “I don’t know [why I did it]. I have no excuse for it. I think I lost my mind. And I don’t know, but if I remember, it wasn’t like I threw it in her face. I just kind of threw it in her direction … That was like my lowest moment. But I think I just lost my mind that trip. I was just in such a bad place. I f**king lost my mind.”
“When I’m mean to people, it haunts me,” he went on.
Lala then clapped back, “You don’t feel bad that you told me I was a bootleg housewife? And you [go], ‘And those lips!’”
“Oh my god! I literally forgot about that until just now,” said Tom. “I gotta blame that one on the alcohol.”
