Stacey Rusch has been in the hot seat with the Real Housewives of Potomac ladies since the season nine reunion. Part of this has been over suspicion that she faked her divorce for the show. Now, it seems she’s been vindicated following intense scrutiny from Ashley Darby and Gizelle Bryant.
Stacey, 53, ended season nine of RHOP by being accused of lying about her relationship with Thomas Anthony “TJ” Jones. Now, in season 10, she has revealed that she’s rekindling things with her ex-husband, Thiemo Rusch, 46. They were seen sitting down for a date in the premiere episode.
Following speculation about her divorce, TMZ has revealed that Stacey is, in fact, divorced.
According to the report, the divorce was finalized in 2024, with a final decree entered on December 16. However, the divorce was sealed, which is why Ashley’s online sleuthing turned up empty.
According to court documents, it was Stacey’s ex-husband who filed for divorce in early December 2024. It was also stated that they had been separated since August 2023. Their divorce was settled so quickly because, at the time, there was “no hope of possibility of a reconciliation between the parties.” The couple had been married since September 2007.
However, it’s notable that Stacey posted footage of them vacationing with their daughter around Christmas 2024. This is reportedly when they decided to work on their relationship. As Stacey noted in the premiere episode for season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, they realized they weren’t prioritizing alone time with one another.
Regarding her status with the ladies, Stacey showed proof in episode two of season 10 that she was divorced. However, it seemed they didn’t believe it, as Gizelle, 55, stated that there was no official seal on the documents that she provided. It’s also notable that they think that she paid TJ to appear on the show as her love interest in her first season.
This season has also seen the second-season housewife being bullied over allegations that she has bad breath. Luckily for her, this has caused many fans of the show to side with her.
