The cast of Selling the OC is gearing up for the premiere of its fourth season. In the midst of that, one former cast member, Tyler Stanaland, is sharing a personal triumph as he’s now engaged following his divorce from actress Brittany Snow.
Tyler joined Selling the OC during its first season on Netflix in 2022. He then left the Oppenheim Group, and thus the show, in 2023 to work with his family’s firm. He and Brittany tied the knot in 2020 and divorced in July 2023. He then began dating Hannah Morrissey, a best-selling author, in early 2025.
Tyler took to his official Instagram account on October 16 to announce that he and Hannah were engaged. His post included three slides. The first featured Hannah and their adorable puppy, the second showed her wearing the beautiful ring, and the third was a photo of them together with him holding the dog.
He wrote in the caption, “Last week, in the very place we road tripped to shortly after we first met, I asked the best person I’ve ever known for forever. Our little family just got a whole lot more official. 💒”
Tyler then said, “When the right person enters your life, it’s not just love, it’s a transformation. All the uncertainties are replaced with peace and partnership. And when you’re also aligned on all the important things it’s absolute magic.”
The former Selling the OC star continued, “I have never had more fun or been more inspired and challenged in all the best ways. My cup is absolutely overflowing by this beautiful little family we’re creating. @hannahmorrissey__.”
The photos and videos show them at Moonstone Beach in Cambria, California. Hannah can be heard saying in the first video, “We’re getting married,” as she kisses their puppy before giving Tyler a smooch.
Regarding his separation from Brittany, she alluded to him having cheated in a 2024 interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast. This came after he had been publicly flirty with Selling the OC co-star Alex Hall, and he stated that Kayla Cardona had tried to kiss him. Tyler later denied that he was unfaithful.
