Bravo announced several new shows in May 2025, one of which was Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition. Wendy Osefo was set to star in the first episode, but it was announced that it wouldn’t air in light of her and Eddie Osefo‘s insurance fraud charges. Now, it seems the episode will see the light of day.

In addition to Wendy, Wife Swap will feature Melissa Gorga, Emily Simpson, and Angie Katsanevas. As with the original series, which aired between 2004 and 2010, it will feature wives switching places to experience a different slice of life. This time, one of the wives will be from Bravo.

Initially, the series premiere of Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition was set to air on October 14. The start date was then moved back to October 21, and Angie’s episode will now be the first to air. Now, according to Deadline, Bravo will, in fact, air Wendy’s episode.

The Real Housewives of Potomac star’s episode will now air on November 9 at 9 p.m. E.T. The official description of the episode reads, “The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Dr. Wendy Osefo, who runs her busy Maryland household prioritizing strict rules, a tight schedule, and education at the forefront, swaps lives with free-spirited Floridian Alethea Shapiro, who prioritizes fun, independence, absolutely no rules, and … ferrets.”

It continues, “Will Dr. Wendy be able to find the balance between structure and fun? Can Alethea bring a little more spontaneity to the Osefo family?”

Regarding the rest of the schedule, Melissa’s episode airs on October 28, and Emily’s will premiere on November 4. It’s unclear if Bravo made changes to Wendy’s episode in light of the insurance fraud charges or if the network simply wanted to allow the story to die down before airing it.

It is worth noting that part of the allegations against Wendy and Eddie state that law enforcement found around 15 items at their home that they previously reported stolen. As a result, it’s possible that Bravo would perhaps want to shy away from showing anything in the property that could drag them into the pending case against the Osefos.
