The Bravo community has been reacting to the news that Real Housewives of Potomac stars Wendy Osefo and Eddie Osefo were arrested for alleged insurance fraud. Now, her co-star, Gizelle Bryant, has taken to her podcast with RHOP alum Robyn Dixon to share her thoughts.

Wendy and Eddie were arrested in early October in Westminster, Maryland, for multiple charges of insurance fraud. They were released the following day on $50k bonds.

Following their arrest, it became clear that the charges stemmed from the 2024 burglary that they reported to the authorities and multiple insurance companies. According to the charges, the Bravo stars reported items they had either returned for refunds or kept at home.

While discussing the arrest on the October 27 episode of the Reasonably Shady podcast, Robyn began, “First, I want to say that I am highly shocked, surprised, and disappointed by these charges.”

“I’m disappointed. I’m so disappointed,” Gizelle added. From there, they both said they have “so many questions.”

“Why? That’s my biggest question,” Gizelle said. “I immediately thought, first of all, huge disappointment. Sad, right, because this is so sad for their children. Guilty or innocent, their parents were removed from their house and brought down to a police station, and charged. They have mugshots, that is, I’m sure, super scary for their children, so sad.”

Gizelle continued, “But like, why? Surely not, in my mind, I’m like, this can’t be for materialistic things.”

Robyn then said, “What else is it for, though? Because it was highly intentional, highly planned, not well thought out, but thought out.”

Robyn also went on to wonder why they believed they could get away with insurance fraud, and she questioned the success of Happy Eddie. Both ladies also acknowledged that Wendy and Eddie are innocent until proven guilty.

The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sunday nights, and fans can stream the Reasonably Shady podcast on all platforms.
