Stacey Rusch has been a fan favorite so far in season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac. Part of the admiration stems from her ability to appear unfazed by criticism from some of her co-stars, and she has also gained favor from resurfaced clips from her QVC days. Now, she’s addressing her rumored relationship with Chris Samuels, the ex of Monique Samuels, and defending herself against Ashley Darby

Regarding Stacey and Chris, Ashley told the group in a recent RHOP episode that she had gotten wind of her castmate seeking to date the retired NFL star. This revelation came after she tried to get Gizelle Bryant to open up about her love life during a dinner scene.

Bravo recently released a sneak peek of a new Real Housewives of Potomac episode. Notably, the footage is slightly out of focus, as it was captured by a producer’s camera.

In it, Stacey can be seen sitting on a couch being told, “Apparently, PEOPLE Magazine got wind of you and Chris… on a date.”

Stacey then admitted to briefly dating Chris. “I was separated, going through a divorce,” shared Stacey. “And as we were separated, Thiemo saw other people and I saw other people.”

From there, she defined the parameters of having seen other people. According to the former QVC host, “I did not have sex with anyone. I saw people, I hung out, and Chris was one of those people.”

She added, “The bottom line is – I know Chris. He is a super cool, respectful.” She was then interrupted and asked if she’s ever had sex with Chris, to which she said, “No, I have not fu**** Chris.”

Stacey also responded to Ashley’s allegations about Chris, as well as her not having been divorced, in an interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish. She said, “Ashley’s gonna be Ashley, so I expect her to be consistent — and that, she is. I don’t know what it is with her. I would think that she is busy. I don’t understand why she has so much time to invest in my life… when I’m not really invested in hers, in that way.”

The RHOP star went on, “I’m interested in a genuine friendship, and it seems like Ashley is interested in being a detective.”

Regarding her co-star questioning her divorce, which has now been confirmed, Stacey responded, “There isn’t anything to clear up because, as I told her, I was divorced in December, and that is the truth. I can’t concern myself with what Ashley needs to know about my life. But I’m speaking my truth. I am, in fact, divorced, and I’ve maintained that from the get-go.”

Stacey added, “I can’t speak for Ashley regarding why she didn’t just ask me as a friend, instead of automatically assuming the worst and accusing me of being a liar.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sunday nights on Bravo.
