Stacey Rusch revealed where she stands with her ex-husband, Thiemo Rusch, and she shared whether he watched Real Housewives of Potomac. The star also addressed whether her “sext” to him affected their romance.
In the new season, Stacey revealed she reconciled with Thiemo, the father of her child. Amid their divorce last year, Stacey was in a relationship with TJ Jones (who later accused her of hiring him to be on the show).
In an interview with The Daily Dish, Stacey was asked where she stands with Thiemo now.
She teased that viewers will see “ups and downs” throughout the season.
“It’s definitely a blessing, but it is not easy,” said Stacey of the relationship, revealing they’re still together. “It’ll be really interesting to see our journey.”
“Thiemo does not watch the show; he is a very busy man,” she went on. “I will fill him in on certain things, and we laugh and talk about them. But, no, it’s too much for him. He wants to protect me. And, you know, it’s very difficult for him at times.”
Later on, Stacey addressed her “sext” to Thiemo, which was encouraged by the cast in a recent episode. (At the time, Thiemo replied, “I think you have the wrong number.”)
Stacey suggested that the text didn’t make a huge impact on their relationship. “Well, I mean … having been divorced, coming back together, things are kind of spicy all the time now,” said the star. “’Cause we’re happy to be back together. But, I think, that my definition of spicy may be a little different than the ladies.”
Last month, on Watch What Happens Live, Stacey shared Thiemo’s reaction to her drama with TJ.
“My husband is very private. He is not into TV. He’s just a very private, German, good man and a great father. And I think that sometimes bad situations teach you good lessons in life, and so that was a tough situation for me, but I’ve moved forward and look at me now,” she said.
Does she feel vindicated now that TMZ confirmed they actually divorced (after Ashley Darby insinuated she was lying)?
“I don’t feel vindicated because I have been maintaining that I’m telling the truth about my life,” said Stacey. “So it’s not a big surprise to me, cause it’s the truth.”
