Meghan King called 911 after a stranger made “threatening” comments to the Real Housewives of Orange County star. The case is still under investigation.

Meghan left RHOC in 2017 after three seasons. At the time, she was married to professional baseball player Jim Edmonds, who is the father of her three kids. They divorced after her exit from the show, and she later married Cuffe Biden Owens, the nephew of President Joe Biden. The couple annulled the marriage a year later.

According to Us Weekly, Meghan called 911 on September 7 after a stranger made “threatening” comments. A Kirkwood, Missouri, police officer drove to her house to get the report.

In this report, Meghan claimed a stranger had been sending texts for months, “making threatening remarks.” The case was closed that day, but a police department rep told the outlet that they’re still investigating.

Back in September, the wife of Meghan’s ex-husband Jim called the police after Meghan allegedly entered their home while looking for her daughter. Meghan, however, claimed she went to drop off her daughter’s clothes after Jim requested it.

“Meghan advised she had contacted her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, earlier in the day to arrange the clothing drop off,” said the report. “Meghan contacted Jim’s current wife, Kortnie.”

A source close to the RHOC star told the outlet, “It was shocking to [Meghan] that it happened in the first place … She is over this back and forth. She thinks it’s ridiculous. It was a very simple interaction that didn’t need police. Meghan is unfazed because she doesn’t want to escalate conflict … She just wants to take care of her family in peace.”

But in the report, Kortnie told the authorities that Meghan “refused to hand Kortnie the dress and ‘pulled away and asked to speak to’ [her daughter]. Kortnie told Meghan that [her daughter] wasn’t home and she was at a baseball game with Jim … Meghan became upset.”

Kortnie alleged that Meghan entered the house to yell for their daughter. She exited when Kortnie told her to leave, but then, Meghan put her foot in the door.

“After Meghan moved her foot, Kortnie closed the door,” said the officer.

Meghan’s rep told Us Weekly, “The recent incident involving Meghan King has been mischaracterized. Meghan was simply attempting to drop off her daughter’s dress at the request of Jim Edmonds and in coordination regarding their child’s needs … There is video footage of this incident, and Meghan wishes it would be shared publicly to clarify the truth.”
