Season nine of Selling Sunset premiered on Netflix in October and featured several changing relationship dynamics. This includes Emma Hernan‘s status with multiple cast members on the show. Now, she’s opening up about rumors she split with Blake Davis, how she feels about some of Chrishell Stause‘s recent social media comments, and more.

Emma began dating Blake in early 2024. However, their relationship has been on-and-off again from the start, and they even broke up for a time during the production of Selling Sunset season nine. Some of her co-stars have taken issue with her union with Blake, which has caused problems in Emma’s various friendships on the show.

There have been recent rumors that Emma and Blake called it quits again. However, she decided to squash the rumblings by posting a video of them together on TikTok. In it, they can be seen walking hand in hand before he picks her up and holds her in his arms. The Selling Sunset star captioned the video, “Let them talk 😊🤷🏼‍♀️.” They used the song “All Night” by Beyoncé in the post.

In other Emma news, she recently interviewed with It Girl. While on the show, she was asked about her feelings about Chrishell’s recent comment.

“Which one?” Emma responded. “I’m like, which one? They’re endless at this point, and it’s disappointing, it’s disheartening, and I have continued to try and take the high road with it all, and to be honest with you, I’m a bit over it.”

It’s unclear what comment the interviewer was referring to, but it is notable that Chrishell recently accused Emma of flaming the hate toward her partner, who is nonbinary.

Emma went on, “I don’t think you should be taking things to social media because you know what it will do to other people. You know what the internet trolls will do. You know what certain communities will do, and I don’t think it’s fair to do to anyone.” Emma then said Chrishell is the only one who takes it to that level. She also called Chrishell’s social media attacks “a bit manipulative.”

Emma then stated that Chrishell took their drama to social media for the attention, citing the “headlines” she gets and people coming to her defense, regardless of whether she’s right or wrong. Emma also said, “I do not believe the things she’s saying. Those are not my beliefs. Those are not my views.”

She added, “And whether he messed up and said something stupid at one point, we have both tried to clarify that. I’ve tried to say it was a mistake. Obviously, things were posted years ago that she’s dragging up and posting now. She knows who I am. Everyone knows who I am as a person.”

Emma was then asked what it would take for her to be friends with Chrishell again. “At this point, there’s nothing because, at this point, she’s not only just attacking — that’s fine, her and my partner don’t want to get along,” Emma responded. “That’s one thing, but she’s now attacking me and my business, which affects my family and other things, which is just not okay.”

Later, she was asked how she met Blake. Emma said, “Blake slid in my DMs,” and he asked if she was married. According to her, “I didn’t reply, and then he DM’d me a year later and said he was looking to buy a house, so he got in with real estate.”

Regarding whether he’s controlling, she revealed, “No, Blake is not controlling. I feel like I went from being super single and doing my own things to okay, I’m with a guy who, A, Chrishell doesn’t like, so that’s one thing, but also, too, I just feel like guys in general are protective.”

When asked if they are still together, Emma said, “I am still spending time with Blake, yes.”
