Emma Hernan is discussing the whispering phone call she made to Chrishell Stause about Blake Davis.

Following the reunion special for season nine of Selling Sunset, Emma, 35, explained why she made the seemingly concerning call, slammed Chrishell, 44, for discussing the conversation publicly, and commented on Chrishell and Blake’s back and forth while also describing them as “impulsive” and offering an update on her relationships with each.

“I don’t blame her for being protective. To be honest with you, I’m not angry at the situation. I’m sad that I lost my friend. I wish that that wasn’t the case,” Emma began during a November 5 interview with Entertainment Tonight.

Then, reflecting on the phone call that Chrishell mentioned at the reunion, Emma said she made the call from Blake’s home in Atlanta.

“If you’re arguing with somebody or something like that, you don’t really want them to hear when you’re calling your best friend and saying what’s going on … I happened to call her and was confiding in my best friend. That was also a private moment between her and I that had no right to be shared. You don’t do that. That was wrong,” she stated.

While Mary Bonnet, 45, called Chrishell out for publicizing her and Emma’s private moment, Chrishell pointed out that they are on a reality show, to which Emma now says, “That wasn’t part of the reality show.”

“That was my real life, and I would never share anything about someone’s private life that wasn’t brought to camera. That’s just who I am,” she added.

Moving on to the ongoing feud between Chrishell and Blake, Emma said she wanted them both to “stop.”

“Just stop fighting,” she begged. “I know that she hates him, and yeah, he will snap back. I think he just wants her to stop talking about him … We’ve established that the friendship is over. That’s sad enough as it is. So, can we move forward from all of this?”

Continuing on, Emma denied Chrishell’s suggestion that she’d lied to protect Blake.

“I’m not a liar. When it comes to him and I, if I would get back together with him, or if I would go away with him, I definitely take responsibility that I was probably avoidant,” she explained of her secrecy. “She’s not going to be the first text that I send out … because obviously that’s something that would upset her.”

Emma then confirmed she doesn’t always agree with Blake’s behavior.

“He’s super family-oriented. He’s a caring, loving person. Obviously, there’s certain things … he’s impulsive, so he’ll post ‘Should I sue her?’ and things like that, but she posts stuff. She’s impulsive, too,” she noted. “So the two of them, like, for me, I’m very like, I mind my own business. I’m not confrontational. But I do believe that people can change.”

Despite the drama Blake endured on season nine, Emma said that when it comes to who Blake is today, she sees potential in their romance.

“When you’re with a good person, they can help you grow and develop. So that’s kind of where I’m at with the relationship,” she revealed.

During another interview, Emma said that when it comes to her current status with Chrishell, they are “worse than [they] were after the reunion.”

“There’s only so much that I can do,” she told StyleCaster. “I have shown nothing but love and support from the day that I met her, and there’s nothing that’s changed on my end, and unfortunately, there’s a lot that’s continuing to transpire that’s really, really sad and unfortunate. And being attacked and things like that, it’s not okay, but I will continue to hold my head up high, and I’ll be a supportive friend to every other person in my life, and I’m gonna stay true to who I am.”
