Former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Brittany “Brit” Eady has been absent from the spotlight after skipping the season 16 reunion. Now, the one-season wonder has officially launched a lawsuit following the much-talked-about revenge porn incident with Kenya Moore

Reports began to emerge on June 6, 2024, that Kenya had targeted new cast member Brit with revenge porn. This happened during a filmed event at Kenya’s salon. From there, the season premiered the following year, with Kenya having been suspended from filming following the antic. It’s worth noting that Brit initially planned to sue Bravo in June 2025, but it seems it was never officially filed.

According to Bloomberg Law, Brit filed her lawsuit against Bravo Media LLC and Truly Original LLC on November 20 with the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. This comes as she continues to allege that the photos shown at Kenya’s event were not of her.

The former cast member’s lawsuit accuses the network and production company of understanding how detrimental Kenya’s actions were but still making the “disgusting decision to leverage it at Eady’s great expense.”

The suit also claims that Brit was prompted to discuss the incident on camera and discuss her sexual history.

Additionally, it claims that the defendants knew right away that the use of the photos was “beyond the pale, hugely improper, and well beyond the show’s standards, expectations, and stated sexual harassment policies.” Brit says both entities “sought to gaslight Eady into thinking it was in her interest to discuss these highly-personal sexual issues.”

From there, Brit stated in the lawsuit that Bravo and/or the production company informed her of plans to invite Kenya back for season 17, meaning she would have to film with “her harasser” if she wanted to return after her first season on the show.

Now, she’s seeking compensatory damages, including backpay and front pay, and past, present, and future pain, suffering, and other hardships stemming from the situation with Bravo. She’s also requesting that the defendants handle her legal fees.

Many fans reacted to the news of the lawsuit on social media. One person said, “She said it wasn’t her. Case closed!!”

Someone else wrote, “So, let me get this straight. They lied and said they did an investigation, per Andy, on WWHL, WHEN SHE WAS ON IT, supposedly found that Kenya did do it, she went the entire season crying about this incident, and never even got to see any of it? I know I can’t be the only one lost asf and confused as to why we lost Kenya over this?”

Finally, another fan said, “So can Kenya come back?
