The Real Housewives of Potomac star Ashley Darby has been on a tirade against Stacey Rusch during the show’s 10th season. Now, she’s opening up about their issues, her interaction with Wendy Osefo, and how she feels about Angel Massie.
Ashley was on a recent episode of the Housewives Nightcap podcast when she was asked why it is she’s gone after Stacey so much on the show. She said, “I don’t dislike Stacey. I’ve never disliked her. I liked her when I first met her.”
The RHOP star went on to say that she met Stacey “eons” ago when she was a traffic reporter at the local DC Fox News studio. She continued, “So, that was the person that I thought was going to be coming into the group. What I have found is that the authentic woman who I thought I met is just not quite the same.”
Ashley went on to say Stacey was “very politician-like,” and that she can “skirt a question.” From there, she admitted to not having proof that Stacey was not being honest about her life.
She went on, “I don’t understand it because I’ve always been so authentic on the show. I’ve come in, and I’ve shared everything — the good, bad, and the ugly. My family, my situation, things with my husband, I’ve just always been so transparent, and she’s just not that way.”
In the end, Ashley stated that Stacey is giving the show an A to C instead of the full alphabet. Next on Housewives Nightcap, Ashley discussed her run-in with Wendy at BravoCon and how it came after she joked about her legal situation in front of an audience of people. Notably, Ashley did this the day the story broke.
She said, “In hindsight, [it] was probably a little too sensitive at the time. I went a little hard on it, so I acknowledge that.” The conversation continued, and Ashley said that her apology at BravoCon was directed at Wendy’s children because they are old enough to have been offended by what she said.
Lastly, she addressed Angel’s home situation after the newbie was accused of renting in the DMV to appear on the show. According to Ashley, “If Angel came to Potomac to be a part of the show, transparency in that vein would have been appreciated.”
She went on, “Instead, acting like this is where you guys are setting up homes, and you’re wanting to reconnect with your family here. None of that felt real, and then some of the other things we learn as the season progresses that validate that her living situation wasn’t what she was actually presenting it to be, I mean, I don’t wanna be right, but usually I am.”
In the end, Ashley said the details around Angel’s living situation are “so murky.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac airs on Sunday nights.
