Bravo has one less legal nightmare on its hands as Todd Nepola, the ex-husband of Real Housewives of Miami star Alexia Nepola, has dropped his $11 million lawsuit.
Todd, 53, first filed the bombshell lawsuit against the network, NBCUniversal, and Purveyors of Pop in October 2025. He alleged in the suit that his likeness was used on RHOM without his consent and that they portrayed him as financially irresponsible. He filed the defamation lawsuit in theU.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
According to TMZ, Todd dismissed his lawsuit the week of December 22. He did this with prejudice, which means he can’t try to sue Bravo, NBCUniversal, and Purveyors of Pop again with the same accusation. It’s important to note that the document Todd filed does not include a reason for the dismissal.
Regarding the lawsuit, much of it stemmed from claims made by RHOM star Adriana de Moura, 60, on the show. This includes her alleging that his businesses were in trouble and that he was forced to downsize his apartment.
Alexia, 58, and Todd tied the knot in December 2021. He then filed for divorce in April 2024, and it became finalized in March 2025. Despite this, the two have had an on-and-off again relationship, with the latest update from Alexia being that they were not together but in a good place.
She spoke to US Weekly in November 2025 about where they stand. Alexia told the outlet, “We are speaking. Yes, we’re on speaking terms. I prefer it that way because I like to be good with people. Life is too short and fragile, and I like things to be good. I need to feel good about myself.”
Alexia went on to say that The Real Housewives of Miami only showed a portion of her situation with Todd. She said, “A lot of things have happened, and the camera is not in my face for all this time. It was filmed a year and a half ago for three months, and a lot of things have happened. You don’t follow my life every day. You don’t see the whole story. Unfortunately, that’s all you saw, but there’s a lot more to tell.”
