On this episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Mary expresses her concern over Meredith’s erratic behavior and worries for her friend. Britani gets called an alcoholic by Lisa, and Bronwyn shares some tea about Seth. The beautiful Grecian setting makes for an epic photo op, but when the group fights too loudly, they get kicked out of not one but two establishments.
Accident-prone Angie starts the morning off with a breakfast tray to her face. Luckily, her lip filler seemingly protects her from a more serious injury, and she is left with a small cut on her lip.
Lisa, in full glam before noon, chats with Meredith about how much fun they had the night before. Meredith admits that she is looking forward to turning the page and making some good memories in Greece.
Angie has prepared for an epic Greek photo shoot, and so she has a wardrobe designer come over to deck the ladies out in brightly colored toga-like dresses. Naturally, Lisa bucks at the thought of a matching group look, but she goes along with it because of the beautiful backdrop.
Bronwyn is loving the touristy photo op, especially because everyone is in a good mood. They joke about being the goddess of feta and of the sea, and Whitney and Heather are thrilled to see this happy side of Meredith. They are, however, worried about how long this version of Meredith will last.
Post photo shoot, the ladies split up. Some women go to the spa while Bronwyn, Whitney, and Mary head to lunch. Mary explains that she is concerned with Meredith’s behavior. Whitney shares that she has been for a while and points out that her dad exhibited the mood swings and rage that Meredith is displaying.
Because Meredith’s moods are so uncontrollable, Mary believes that she needs help. She claims that Meredith is “fragile” and “going through something.” According to Mary, Meredith’s behavior is not adding up, and it makes Mary upset that Meredith does not see her own issues. Mary becomes emotional because she is unsure how to help Meredith, as Meredith needs to help herself first.
Mary admits that she overlooks and explains away behaviors, but because she lives this with her son, she can recognize what is going on. Mary knows the signs now and states that something is truly not right with Meredith.
Bronwyn admits that she is also worried about something that happened back in January. She ran into Seth in New York… and saw him with another woman in the restaurant. Bronwyn goes on to say that Meredith’s defensiveness toward her marriage makes her believe that things are not right. Bronwyn feels a “fear” when she talks to Meredith about Seth, but no one is certain how to approach all of this heaviness with Meredith.
Meanwhile, at the spa, Britani “is doing what everyone hates… which is being Britani.” She thinks she is funny, but no one splashes people in a spa. Britani refuses to let us forget that she had buckets of water poured over her head during the last trip, which is actually a good point.
Despite the quiet zone signage, Angie and Lisa continue to dig into Britani. Angie cannot believe that her hair is now crusty and wet after it took her an hour to blow it out and achieve the perfect glass look.
Britani pivots and explains that she is annoyed because no one even asked her if her daughter texted her on Mother’s Day. Sure, Britani does not have the best relationship with her children, but Lisa jumps on this, pointing out that Britani said herself that she put men in front of them. Lisa then goes on to tell Britani that she cannot judge Meredith’s mothering.
Lisa is sick of Britani turning on the tears anytime she is losing an argument and needs some empathy. She thinks Britani is dramatic, and Meredith agrees that Britani is always looking for sympathy. But Britani is sick of walking on eggshells around Meredith. Meredith reminds Britani that to have a good relationship with her kids, she “breaks her a*s,” and then Meredith storms away. The best part about this whole fight is that they are whisper-yelling, in an attempt to heed the quiet zone ordinance of the spa. Clearly, they failed at this effort.
While getting ready for dinner, Whitney talks to Heather about the “sad” lunch she had with Bronwyn and Mary. She shares that even Mary notices a change in Meredith. Whitney goes on to say that Mary became upset about Meredith’s erratic behavior.
We see a different side of Lisa, the tree-loving, grounding version. Lisa admits that she is obsessed with trees and talks about how spiritual she is. But she proves to be the same old Lisa we all know when she begins to stir things up with Britani.
Lisa begins to poke at Britani on the van ride to dinner, wondering out loud if Britani is an alcoholic. During the yacht trip, Britani was allegedly drinking until she would throw up, and then begin drinking all over again. Britani wonders why Lisa would be bringing this up NOW, weeks later. It is also very interesting that Lisa heard this information from Meredith, who is also being questioned for her erratic behavior.
At dinner, Bronwyn receives a call from Todd. This is a version of Todd we do not see as often. This is Todd, the family guy. He has jumped in to help Bronwyn’s mom navigate the sale of her home while Bronwyn is in Greece. There’s a lot of change going on in Bronwyn’s family, and she is feeling bad that she is away while it is all happening. Bronwyn realizes that Todd would do anything for her family and is grateful that he is there to hold it together.
Some shots are licked during dinner (thanks, Mary), and Britani brings up the alcoholic allegation. Meredith explains that she heard it through the grapevine and then shared it with Lisa. Bronwyn appears to be the source, but she denies saying anything like that. In fact, Bronwyn merely said they shared a room, and Britani threw up often. Meredith was the one who insinuated the alcoholic aspect.
Whitney wonders why it’s okay for Lisa to call Britani an “alchy-lush,” but they can’t call Meredith out for her behaviors. Whitney calls it a double standard. Lisa eventually apologizes to Britani, and they move on. They begin to point out Britani’s accomplishments, and Heather states that Britani is more “accomplished than most of us.”
This sets Bronwyn off, and she calls this a weird statement. Lisa jumps in to rattle off the list of things she has done, and it is hilarious how quickly these women feel the need to validate themselves over Britani.
Mary wonders why Heather is going so hard for Britani and when she became Britani’s mouthpiece. Angie wants Britani to find her own voice, the same way Meredith needs to figure everything out without Lisa stepping in. Whitney tries to explain what is going on, but Lisa lashes out, saying she doesn’t like being told what to do and what not to do. In the midst of this fight, the waiter comes over to tell the group the restaurant is closed and they have to go — aka, they are getting kicked out. Sooo, first they get kicked out of a spa, and now they are getting kicked out of a restaurant. How embarrassing. Even more embarrassing is when the waiter mutters under his breath in Greek, “Thank God they left.”
