A source revealed Alexia Nepola’s alleged status with ex-husband Todd Nepola after the Real Housewives of Miami star was reportedly spotted with him in Paris, wearing her wedding ring.
Though the couple divorced last year, rumors have swirled that they’re in a secret relationship. Why the smoke and mirrors? According to speculation, Alexia didn’t want Bravo to know they were still involved, as he sued the network for defamation. Last month, however, TMZ reported that Todd dropped the lawsuit.
In an interview for Us Weekly, a source addressed Alexia’s status with Todd.
“They are dating,” said the insider. “They travel together and have been since their divorce. They spent New Year’s together in Paris.”
But the source said Alexia “is not engaged.”
“It is her old wedding ring that she simply likes wearing from time to time, especially when they are together,” said the insider. “They’re still navigating what their relationship looks like. Alexia is happy about it. They’re trying to turn a new leaf, have a fresh start on things and leave the negative in the past.”
“It’s day by day,” the source added. “They’re living separately. They are trying to figure out their new normal.”
In a 2021 episode of RHOM, Alexia reflected on her relationship with Todd at the time.
“After the two marriages that I’ve had, you know, I was super jaded,” she said. “But when I met Todd around five years ago, I knew that he was going to be the one that I was going to be able to trust. I honestly really want to be married to Todd for the rest of my life. He loves me.”
Back in November, Alexia shared an update.
“We are speaking. Yes, we’re on speaking terms. I prefer it that way because I like to be good with people. Life is too short and fragile, and I like things to be good. I need to feel good about myself,” she told US Weekly. “A lot of things have happened, and the camera is not in my face for all this time. It was filmed a year and a half ago for three months, and a lot of things have happened. You don’t follow my life every day. You don’t see the whole story. Unfortunately, that’s all you saw, but there’s a lot more to tell.”
