Summer House alum Paige DeSorbo reacted to Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke’s split — years after Kyle’s feud with Paige’s bestie, Hannah Berner.
Earlier this week, Amanda and Kyle released joint statements announcing their breakup four years after they tied the knot. In the months leading up to their split, the couple seemed to evade questions about their rumored separation. And at one point, Amanda appeared to outright deny it.
Years ago, Amanda fell out with Hannah amid her feud with Kyle. Though Paige maintained a tenuous friendship with him, they seemed to fight at least once a season.
Following the split, Paige reacted to a post about the breakup.
“Now that Kyle is out of the picture, I feel like we can get this friendship back,” wrote account @JaxBlocked on Instagram, via @queensofbravo.
Paige then ‘liked’ the comment, suggesting that she shares the same hope.
On January 19, Amanda and Kyle released a joint statement on Instagram.
“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” said the former couple. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing. It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”
Last year, rumors began circulating that the couple was living separately. But in November, they denied they split.
“Kyle and I are always going through a difficult time. I feel like it’s nothing new,” said Amanda at the time to Page Six. “I keep saying, ‘The news must’ve been slow that day cuz I didn’t realize that me and Kyle arguing was newsworthy.’ [It’s the] same stuff every season, so no, everything’s fine.”
Earlier that year, Amanda told E! News, “Our entire relationship there have been some sort of rumors going on, from me being pregnant to us getting divorced. It seems to be something new every time, but none of them are true. I’m not pregnant, we’re not getting divorced.”
