Ashley Darby’s texts to Stacey Rusch, sent shortly after Dr. Wendy Osefo’s arrest, were leaked at the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion. Plus, Ashley called out Wendy’s alleged 67 credit cards, as Wendy clapped back.
Last October, Wendy and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were arrested on charges of insurance fraud. According to The Baltimore Banner, prosecutors claimed they found 67 credit cards belonging to the couple, who allegedly used different aliases. Shortly after the arrest, Ashley made a joke about Wendy behind bars, though she later apologized for it at BravoCon.
In a reunion preview, Ashley brought up the report that Wendy allegedly has 67 credit cards after Wendy suggested that Ashley has few accomplishments.
“I have one social security card, I know that. So that’s an accomplishment,” said Ashley, via @thebravoshaderoom on Instagram.
“I do too,” said Wendy.
“Ok well, your 67 [credit cards] says otherwise,” Ashley responded.
“And what document does it say I have others?” asked Wendy. “… It never said that.”
“That’s what it says online,” said Ashley.
“I’m assuming that you don’t accept Ashley’s apology,” said host Andy Cohen.
“It’s not that I don’t accept it,” Wendy answered. “I feel like Ashley’s full of s***. … I feel like Ashley sat up there at BravoCon and … lied. It’s a completely different story [today].”
“It’s not a different story,” said Ashley.
“Because what you don’t know is I know that you texted Stacey. And when Stacey was asking you if you feel bad that Wendy’s locked up, you said … no, I don’t feel any way. She deserves it. You deserve this,” said Wendy. “You can lie if you want to.”
Stacey’s text to Ashley then appeared on the screen: “I legit had nightmares last night. Are you as upset?”
Ashley answered, “Mmmmm yes and no. … Of course personally for her beautiful children — But she has been very condescending to many of us.”
Back in the reunion, Ashley explained, “In the moment I made the joke, it was when your devilish-grin mugshot came out. … I’m not losing sleep over Wendy doing something that she potentially did. I apologize for what I said that could hurt your children.”
Wendy claimed her kids “don’t know who the hell you are.”
