Monique Samuels accused Stacey Rusch of telling her ex-husband, Chris Samuels, that Monique was filming with their kids, apparently without his permission. Meanwhile, Keiarna Stewart suggested that Chris was close to sending a “cease and desist.”
As Monique returned to Real Housewives of Potomac this season, she recalled the end of her marriage to Chris, a professional football player for the NFL. Around the same time, rumors swirled that Stacey pursued Chris when she was single, though she denied it.
In a preview for the Real Housewives of Potomac reunion, Monique pulled out her phone for what seemed to be a video call with an unnamed person.
Though the content was censored, castmates looked shocked as they watched it. At one point, Gizelle’s mouth dropped, though Stacey seemed unbothered.
After it ended, Andy asked, “Stacey, did you tell Chris that Monique was filming with her children?”
“No, I did not,” said Stacey, via BravoTV. “And yes I was in that room with you because you were in my room, and I came in to use the bathroom. I literally just went through a divorce. I literally just went through custody and all of those things. Why on earth would I get involved with your business and your family?”
“[That’s] my question!” Monique responded.
“I am with my husband, and my family is back together,” said Stacey. “Why would I want to harm you? I don’t talk to Chris. I talk to my husband, with whom I live.”
Andy then asked why this person would “make that up.”
“I have no idea why [name redacted] would say that,” Stacey answered. “I have not spoken to Chris about you and your children and filming.”
Stacey claimed she was not in contact with Chris during production. But according to Keiarna, Sherita “Cookie” Whiting claimed Chris was going to send a “cease and desist” if the issue wasn’t resolved. Keiarna alleged that Stacey is to blame for this.
Host Andy Cohen then mentioned that he noticed Wendy Osefo was having unusual facial expressions, as if she was waiting for Stacey “to confess.”
“I don’t think I’m waiting for her to confess. I feel like I’m seeing in real time the tides are turning,” shared Wendy. “Everyone is pointing their finger at her. To hear [bleep] say that takes it to a different level. That’s why I’m just where I’m at.”
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Potomac air on Sunday nights on Bravo.
