According to a report, Dr. Wendy Osefo and Eddie Osefo will no longer be tried together, as Eddie waived his right to a speedy trial. Plus, the couple was spotted leaving the courthouse in recent photos.

Last year, Wendy and Eddie were arrested on charges of insurance fraud. According to prosecutors, the Real Housewives of Potomac couple allegedly faked their own home robbery for insurance money. As of now, they’ve maintained their innocence, indicating that they look forward to their day in court.

“Wendy and Eddie will NO LONGER be tried together. Eddie [waived] his rights to a speedy trial (being tried within 180 days of being charged),” wrote the X account for the What Else Is Going On podcast. “There was extensive discovery and he wants to take a deeper dive per the prosecution. … Back down to the courthouse for the Osefo’s status hearing…Stay tuned.”

“They are estimating that Wendy’s trial and Eddie’s trial will each run four days. With one day for the defense. Again, that is the current estimate,” the account added. “Got confirmation from one of the bailiffs today that at the last hearing they were told that their job was to watch me, my girl Dr. Pam and Chantal (Purple Panda Pants) on Reddit to see if we broke any rules. We explained we follow all court rules. We’re friends now.”

The account added that Wendy won’t be able to have the trial “as quickly as she wanted.”

“The original trial date for her would’ve been April 15 2026,” said the podcaster. “Due to the trial schedule it will unfortunately have to be pushed out until May. She was willing to go to trial before her status conferences.”

“Wendy [wants] a trial seemingly immediately. She DID NOT waive her right to a speedy trial,” wrote the account. “The defense & prosecution were looking for dates in March. However, there were none available for a jury trial. This makes me wonder if this is a set up for Eddie to take the fall.”

Meanwhile, Wendy and Eddie were spotted leaving court yesterday in photos shared by the same account on Instagram. In one picture, the couple walked together with their arms intertwined.
